Tips & Warnings
Massaging the lotion into your skin is the most important part of this process. Massage itself is what forces the toxins to move from your muscle and skin tissues into the lymphatic system, which will then enable them to be eliminated from your body. Use juniper oil in your lotion to aid in the elimination of fluids; grapefruit oil to help detoxify your skin; cypress to increase circulation and tone the skin; and rosemary to act as a skin toner. For additional benefit, add up to 10 drops of germanium oil to your solution to increase circulation.
Make sure the essential oils you purchase are all-natural and not synthetic. Natural essential oils can be found in many health food stores and come directly from plant sources. Synthetic oils are the chemical recreation, have no health benefits and often cause allergic reactions. Never apply an essential oil directly to your skin. Essential oils should always be diluted in a carrier oil or lotion before application.
