Launch the Microsoft Works application currently installed on your computer system. To get started, select the "Task Launcher" feature to gain access to all of the available functions. From the top menu, click the "Programs" icon and view the choices to select from. You'll have the chance to view templates to work with.

Pick a greeting card template to open by clicking onto its icon. You'll be instantly directed to another page to preview several more greeting cards. If you're not happy with a chosen card, just click another one to preview its style. When you're ready to begin working on your photo greeting card, double click the "Use This Style" link located to the right of the page. It will automatically open a new document in another window.

View the new photo greeting card and begin making the necessary changes to personalize it. Type your message in the blank space and add images to the photo greeting card. You can replace an existing image to make it entirely special for the person you're sending the card to. Use photos that are currently saved on your computer system.

Print your photo greeting card when you've finished making changes. You'll have the chance to select the printer icon from the document's menu bar or access the print function through the "File" menu. Make sure that your printer properties are set to the highest quality. These settings can usually be accessed through the "Properties" section.

Open a Microsoft Word 2007 document to begin making a photo greeting card. Select the round Microsoft logo located at the top corner of the page. From the displayed options, click the "New" link. Several templates will appear for you to choose from. Choose the "Greeting Cards" link to view the templates available. There will be a list of occasions to browse through. Once you've decided on one, click the corresponding link to open the template.

Preview your chosen photo greeting card by clicking once onto a template. It will be displayed in a larger image on the right side of the window. If you're happy with the template, click the "Download" button at the bottom to add it to your computer system. Depending on your current Internet connection, it may take a few seconds to download. View the details already included in the photo greeting card and change them according to your preferences.

Add a personal photo into your greeting card by clicking an empty space. From the top menu, select the "Insert" link to place the new photo in this area. Choose the "Picture" icon to browse through the photos on your computer system. Click onto one and press the "Insert" button to include it in your photo greeting card. The photo may be a little larger than you expect. To resize the image, just hold down your mouse and drag the ends to the desired location.

Print your photo greeting card by choosing the command from your menu options. Change the printer properties to "Photo Quality" and create a great looking photo greeting card. Distribute your printed photo greeting card to others and let them know that you're thinking of them.
