Things You'll Need:
- Mirror
- Wax paper
- Painter's tape
- Tiles
- Glass adhesive
- Grout
- Latex gloves

Step 1
Lay your mirror on a flat surface that is covered with wax paper. You can use any shape of mirror, with or without a frame. You will be creating a mosaic tile frame, which you can do on top of an existing wooden or metal frame, or you can tile directly onto the mirror, creating a free-form mosaic frame. You can find mosaic tiles at your local home improvement store, or you can tile pieces of broken ceramics. Break your ceramics by placing them in a plastic bag, wrapping them in a towel and striking them with a hammer.

Step 2
Protect the portion of the mirror that you do not wish to tile with painter's tape and wax paper. This will keep stray glue or grout from getting in the wrong place while defining the area to be tiled.

Step 3
Place the tiles or broken ceramics around the mirror face up so you can see the shapes and colors. Place a small section of clear Liquid Nail, E6000 or other strong glass glue onto the area to be tiled. Press a mosaic tile or broken ceramic firmly into the adhesive. Work in small sections so you can tile the frame before the adhesive dries. Work your way around the perimeter of the mirror. Let the adhesive dry completely.

Step 4
Grout the sections between the mosaic tiles or broken ceramics, pressing the grout into the spaces with your fingers. Wear gloves for this process. Remove any grout residue from the tiles with warm water and a sponge before the grout dries because it could leave a cloudy film on the surface of the tiles or ceramic pieces. Let the grout dry and remove the painter's tape and wax paper from the mirror.
