1
Remove refined sugar, caffeine, foods with artificial colorings and foods containing sodium benzoate (a preservative) from the diet of anyone diagnosed with ADHD.

2
Prepare foods high in protein. Studies at Oxford and other research centers have shown that foods that are high in proteins, such as eggs, lean meats, and especially fish can have a very beneficial effect on patients with ADHD.

3
Add protein powder (found at health food stores) to drinks. Add fresh fruit, a small amount of fruit juice, an ounce of protein powder and some ice in a blender and blend until frothy.

Serving fresh fruits and vegetables in place of salty and oily snacks has been shown to improve the behavior of up to 30% of ADHD suffers.
