Things You'll Need:
- Patience
- Rat Tail Comb
- Paddle Brush
- Bobby Pins
- Hair Spray
- Shine Drops
-
Step 1
First you will need to separate the hair on the crown of your head. If you have bangs, you will separate them as you normally would and a bit more on the crown to add a height effect later on.
-
Step 2
Next, part your remaining hair down the center of your head all the way to the nape of the neck. Basically, part all of the hair not included in the crown separation. Line each side of the part from your natural cowlick to the nape with bobby pins to create a base for your twists.
-
Step 3
Now, twist the hair on the right side of your head creating a roll. Secure the twist of hair to your head with bobby pins going the entire length of the twist for maximum hold.
-
Step 4
Next, you will need to tease the hair you separated from the crown of your head for a bit of height. Smooth it back, using a paddle brush if needed, and tuck the ends into the right twist. Secure with a bobby pin or two if needed. Spay with a bit of setting spray.
-
Step 5
Now, you will need to create the next twist. Repeat the steps that you took to create the right twist.
-
Step 6
Then, workings upwards, blend the twists together and pin as needed to create a tight looking seem between the two twists.
-
Step 7
Last, add a drop of shine serum to your twists and spray with ultimate hold hair spray or setting spray.
