Afro American Hair Care

Some Afro Americans hair has a problem with growing, staying strong and healthy.

Because of this natural structure, the hair is naturally dry and is easily damaged.
For years it was thought that Afro American hair grew slower than other
racial hair types. Now it is known that is not the case, the hair breaks off
easily because of dryness.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    Hot Oil

    Hot Oil

Moisturizing black hair is the most effective method to help with dryness breakage, and brittle hair.

Use the hot oil treatment. Black hair benefits from a hot oil treatment. Warm the oil by placing the bottle of hot oil into warm water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Soak the scalp in the warm oil and wrap your head in a hot towel or
a conditioning cap for 20 minutes. Rinse with cool water and shampoo.

  2. Step 2

After shampoo, while hair is still damp, massage the hair with a hair formula for extra dry hair to help assimilate the natural oil which is required to prevent breakage.

  3. Step 3
    Creme Moisturizer
