How to Make Some Extra Cash During a Recession (and reduce clutter at the same time!)

Things You'll Need:

• Books

1. Gather some books together that you would like to sell or get rid of.

2. Go to http://cash4books.net/index.php?ref=106852 or click the link in the resources section below. Enter the ISBN of each book into the "Price My Books" box, using a new line for each ISBN. The ISBN is the 10 or 13 digit number located just above the barcode of the book. Press enter.

3. The next page will show you whether or not the site is buying a particular book, and if it is buying, how much they will pay you for it.

4. Create a seller's account, submit your books for shipment, and print out the shipping label. Shipping is free!

5. Ship your books and wait for your payment through PayPal or by check. Enjoy the extra cash and reduced clutter in your home.

Tips & Warnings

• Use PayPal as your preferred compensation method, as the site gives a 3% bonus for using PayPal.
• If you have internet on your cell phone, you can price books while you are out and about with the site's "mobile" function: www.cash4books.net/mobile
• The site is more likely to buy books 5 years or newer, as they buy books based on consumer demand. Also, they will not buy any books that do not have an ISBN (usually books published after 1975 will have one).
• This site has condition requirements for books, so be sure to read these requirements before shipping your books.
