Step 1
One way to Go Green that is good for the earth, the pocketbook, and your body is to start walking or riding your bike, whenever possible. It's environmental conservation through exercise!
-
Step 2
Get a green job. Especially with the green stimulus package; green jobs are growing quickly and should be much more than a passing trend. Talk to your local community college about the different green careers, or, check out the link below for How to Find a Green Job.
-
Step 3
Consider purchasing an electric or hybrid car. They are not wildly expensive and will save you in the long run because you won't be paying as much gas.
-
Step 4
Look into green residential energy grants. There are lots of different government backed green home upgrades that can be expensive without a little support. Look into these resources as they can make energy updates cheaper.
-
Step 5
Go green by recycling religiously. Implement a recycling program at your work, your church, or your children's school. Each person or social group that you can get excited about environmental conservation will make a difference!
