New York Cheesecake. Great for any occasion. A quick and easy recipe that has been in my family for years.

New York Cheesecake is a definite crowd pleaser.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Graham crackers
  • spring pan
  • electric mixer
  1. Step 1

Prepare Cheesecake 30 hours before serving.

    Preheat oven to 375

Grease spring pan with butter or margarine then coat with crumbled graham cracker.

  2. Step 2

Add cream cheese, sour cream, 3 eggs, vanilla and beat with electric mixer for 15 minutes (DO NOT CHEAT, very important.)

Once all ingredients are mixed well. Pour into greased graham cracker spring pan.

  3. Step 3

Place a larger pan under the spring pan to avoid any batter leaking out from the spring pan.

Bake for 30 minutes. Shut oven off and leave cheesecake in the oven for 45 more minutes. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN.

After 45 minutes take cheesecake out of the oven cool for 15 minutes and then place into refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Cheesecake is best when served cold.

Great when served plain or topped with cherry, blueberry or strawberry pie filling.
