When your baby starts walking you may have many different questions about the right shoes to buy him/her. You may want to bronze your baby's first walking shoes, as many parents do for a keepsake. Remember baby's feet are sensitive, and they grow fast! Here are some basic needs to keep in mind when shoe shopping for you baby.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Flexibility and comfort -Babies shoes should be flexible so they move with your baby as well as comfortable.

Soles - Make sure the shoes have a non-slip sole to help baby walk around and not slip. You also want to make sure they do not have rigid soles.

  2. Step 2

Size - It is very important to regularly check baby's feet and the size of his/her shoes. Their feet grow fast at this age, and it is vital to their comfort and growing feet to wear the right size.

Tightness - Make sure you check the fit of the shoe. If shoes are to tight, then it can hinder your baby from walking and be very uncomfortable for them. many babies have wide feet and there are many shoes sold with wide fit to properly fit them comfortably.

  3. Step 3

With so many styles these days to choose from, make sure you are not only looking at the style. It is important to have all the right comfort for your baby's growing feet. Look is one thing, but comfort is the main thing to consider!
