How to DONATE HAIR to LOCKS OF LOVE
If your are considering getting a hair cut and your hair if fairly long, you can donate your hair to Locks of Love! Locks of Love is a great non-profit organization that provides wigs and hairpieces to kids who have lost hair due to cancer or alopecia. Donating your hair is easy... I know because I donated my hair!

- A ponytail at least 10 inches long that you are willing to cut off.

Go to the Locks of Love web site at www.locksoflove.org or click on the link in the RESOURCES section below this article (scroll down past the google ads).

When you are at their website, click on the DONATE tab near the top of their homepage. On this page you will find all the info you need as to how to cut the hair and what types of hair they will accept. You will also see their mailing address on this page.

While you are at their site click around and you will learn so much about all the wonderful things Locks of Love does for children. And if you can't donate hair, they have suggestions for other ways you can help.
