Bathroom decor can be just about anything anymore. You do not have to stay with a bathroom theme. Think about the colors that you would like to use. In choosing colors for home decorating, stay with 3 colors. A good ratio is 60 percent of your main color, 30 percent of a second color and 10 percent for an accent color.

Choose the colors that you would like in your bathroom. Look through some home decorating magazines to get some ideas. Take a day to go window shopping. If you see things that interest you, come home and visualize them in your bathroom. Go to bed and bath shops, discount stores, dollar stores and even furniture stores are a good source for wall decor.

Some ideas for bathroom wall decor would be decorative wood and wrought iron shelves. On these you could display an ivy vine, a small picture and a seashell. An open wicker shelf with a couple of shelves in it could be used for displaying wash cloths, bath oils and decorative soaps. If your tub and shower are separate, you could hang a picture over your tub. Wall vases with trailing vines would give some life to a bathroom. A wall clock would be attractive as well as handy for wall decor in a bath. Use your imagination and creativity.
