How to Erase a CD-RW
A CD-RW is a media disc to which you can copy, or "burn," files. The "RW" stands for "re-writable," which means you can burn files to the same disc multiple times. However, CD-RWs have limited storage, and if what you want to burn exceeds the available disc space, you may have to erase the files on the disc. Windows has the Erase Disc Wizard to help you erase the entire contents of a CD-RW, but you can also selectively delete some files if there are others you want to keep on the disc.
