If you'd love to take advantage of downloadable grocery discounts or free printable coupons from the Internet, but don't have a printer, consider using loadable coupons to receive similar discounts. With Internet access and a grocery store club card or preferred shoppers card, you'll be able to get the coupon savings without the hassle of paper coupons. Consider these tips to use loadable coupons.

Instructions

1. Sign up for a grocery club card from your favorite store to use loadable coupons. Most store applications for preferred customer cards require you to divulge your name, address and email address to receive mailers and sale information. Be sure the store offers loadable grocery coupons-some participating retailers include Ralphs, City Market, Kroger, Smith's, King Soopers, Gerbes and Baker's.

2. Visit to the grocery store's website to add the loadable coupons to your store discount card. Just enter your card number and click the coupons you want to add to the card. You can also find loadable discounts through websites like Proctor and Gamble (through PGESaver.com) and Shortcuts.com. (Note: You'll need to register with most of websites before you can use loadable coupons, though it will typically just be your name, zip code, birthday and email address.)

3. Consider the shopping coupons that you'll actually use on your next trip, since some preferred customer cards cap the number of loadable coupons you can download onto the card at one time.

4. Ask the checker to scan your preferred customer card during checkout and the loadable coupons and their discounts will automatically be deducted from your total grocery bill.

Tips & Warnings

• For extra grocery coupon savings, ask the manager of your local grocery store if you're also allowed to use loadable coupons along with paper coupons. If so, you'll receive double savings on items with discounts in the weekly newspaper and triple savings if there are also in-store discounts.
