Eat breakfastEat breakfast, even if you do not feel hungry. Skipping meals tells your body to retain fat because food is not available. If you are not a breakfast person, start small: eat a piece of fruit, a slice of bacon, or some yogurt.

Avoid large meals and snacks that are high in fat and sodium. Remember all things in moderation. If you are dying for some ice cream, have some, but measure out an actual serving. Used baked potato chips, baked potato instead of French fries, and avoid the buttered rolls.

I can run six miles & do a weight workout that will never make me hurt like an afternoon of gardening. It is the as-yet unrecognized extreme sport with major fitness potential.
