Step 1
Drinks. Mixed drinks are fun and half the fun is coming up with new ideas for mixed drinks. But drinks aren't the only way to enjoy alcohol. Fruit is a great way to add flare to any drink. If you want to share mixed drinks with friends, try an alcohol fruit bowl! Soak the diced fruit in the liquor of your choice, add a juice, and let the fruit soak up the liquids for about two hours before the party (keep cold). Serve the fruit on little kabob spears or on toothpicks on a serving tray with other appetizers, like cheese.
If you like wine, add fruit in the wine glass, apples and grapes go great, like a version of sangria!
If you are daring, hollow out a small portion of a lemon or lime, just big enough to fit a straw inside, pour a little liquor inside and you have an instant shot! -
Step 2
Beer. Even beer can be fun. Beer bread is a great way to feed your guests while starting the party off right. Take any simple bread recipe and add about 22 oz of beer. Dark beer will be more bitter, so stick to an ale (Sam Adams is a good choice, like wheat ale or even their spring/summer ales). You could even shape the bread before baking into beer bottles! Try keeping your beer cold, with beer cubes! Yup freeze your beer in an ice cube tray, then let your guests add the cubes to their drink when it cools down.

Step 3
turn your drinks into everyday thingsFrozen drinks. Make enough for one huge bowl of frozen drink fun! Add a bunch of multi colored straws and let them go to town! If you keep your frozen beverages a little thicker and colder than usual, you can use the drink as a dip (add some vanilla yogurt to thicken it up) then dip with pineapple slices or orange slices. Tip: Serve pina coladas out of an ice cream dish, top with whipped cream and a cherry and it will look just like an ice cream sundae!
