Do you need to exercise more? Do you need to just start exercising? Is there just no way you are ever going to be able to work out before work or after? Is there no hope for you? Don't be afraid! There is an answer to your problem. Just read these few tips to start your exercise program.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS! Start adding steps to your day wherever you can. Instead of parking close to work, park a block away and walk. Take the space farthest away instead of the closest one. Pretend you drive a jaguar and you don't want anyone to ding your car, so always park far away and walk. You can do this at work, or in your leisure time.

  2. Step 2

DON'T USE EMAIL TO CONVERSE WITH CO-WORKERS. When the need arises to have a short conference, walk to their desk or office, especially if it is on another floor. Walk as quickly as possible to get the most exercise from this activity. Just getting up burns more calories than remaining seated for hours on end.

  3. Step 3

EAT QUICKLY! Then use the remaining minutes to walk briskly. Even more radical, eat something while you walk and use the extra minutes to move. Fruit, fiber bars, sandwiches all lend themselves to eating and moving!

  4. Step 4

USE A FITNESS BALL! Sit on a fitness ball while you do your work. This will improve your posture and your balance. (You may get people staring at you.) Your health is worth it!

  5. Step 5

FIND OTHERS WHO ARE LIKEMINDED! You could start a revolution in your office or workspace. Other people may want to join you for your lunchtime walk or have new ideas.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't give up.
  • Keep thinking up new ways to exercise, its addicting!
