  • Large Pot
  • Wooden spoons
  • Measuring utensils
  • Wet Dish rag
  • A clock or timer
  • 13 x 9 cake pan, well oiled.
  1. Step 1

You will need 2 bowls and you will need to oil them with vegetable oil on the insides.

  2. Step 2

Measure out the peanut butter and place into one of the oiled bowls. Set aside

  3. Step 3

Using a spoon, scoop the fluff from the jar, into the other oiled bowl. Set aside

  4. Step 4

In the large pot, combine the evaporated milk, all the sugar and the vanilla extract.

  5. Step 5

Place the pot on the stove and turn the burner on low heat, stirring the contents of the pot continuously.

  6. Step 6

Slowly and at intervals, increase the burner heat, continuing to stir the contents of the pot, until you reach high heat. The objective, is to get the sugar to completely dissolve.

  7. Step 7

Once the mixture starts boil, time it for exactly 5 minutes, remove from the stove top and place it on the damp dish rag.

  8. Step 8

Add the peanut butter and mix thoroughly.

  9. Step 9

Final ingredient, add the fluff and mix thoroughly.

  10. Step 10

Immediately, pour the mixture from the pot, into the oiled cake pan, let cool. It will harden, as it cools.

  11. Step 11

Once it is completely cool, cut to desired size, wrap and give as gifts or keep for yourself.

  12. Step 12

I hope, that you enjoy the fudge and those, that you share it with. It doesn't have a gritty texture, it's silky smooth and old fashioned.
