Baseball is America's game, unfortunately it is quickly becoming the game American can't afford. Buying baseball tickets doesn't have to break the bank. Do some research and cheap baseball tickets can be found.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Take advantage of the economic down turn when buying baseball tickets. This has made cheap baseball tickets readily available, it is just a matter of finding them. One of those ways is to search the internet. Such places as StubHub.com and even eBay offer fans a chance to find baseball tickets.

  2. Step 2

Call Major League Baseball teams for speciality games. It is very common for MLB teams to offer reduced tickets for college students, families and senior citizens. Another common promotion has been veteran day. No matter the promotion it is likely that the MLB team in your area will offer cheap baseball tickets. Also, ask them if they allow food and drinks to carried into the stadium.

  3. Step 3

Think beyond MLB baseball. The fact is ticket prices are going to be high for most if not all MLB teams. So, don't go to a MLB game, instead seek out a minor league game or college game. These games offer cheap tickets and great promotions. The fact is minor league baseball is often more family friendly than MLB teams.

  4. Step 4

Wait until game day and then head down to the park. If legal, purchasing tickets on the street can often be a cheap way to get into the park. Wait until the game starts and then find a bargain, because s street scalper would rather have something than nothing.
