As far as women are concerned, do the words orgasm and masturbation go together? By definition, masturbation is the act of stimulating your own genitals to achieve sexual arousal to the point of reaching an orgasm.

For women, masturbation is done by using the fingers or a sex toy like a vibrator to stimulate the clitoris until orgasm is achieved. So since the goal of masturbating is to satisfy your sexual urges, it is but natural for you to reach that climax in the form of an orgasm.

So how exactly can it be done? What are the things that you need to know as a woman when it comes to learning how to orgasm from masturbation? Read on to find out.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Familiarize Yourself With Your Woman Parts

Did you know that it takes about 15 to 20 minutes of direct stimulation for a woman to reach an orgasm? This is a pretty long time as compared to men, who only need less than five minutes of direct stimulation to end things with a bang.

Now, since you will be spending this much time in stimulating yourself in order for you to orgasm from masturbation, you do need to familiarize yourself with your 'woman parts'. Masturbating is the ideal time to learn which particular part of your nether regions effectively gets you off.

  2. Step 2

Learn About the Methods of Female Masturbation

Masturbation is also a good time to experiment about the strokes, pace and rhythm that you personally like which would lead you to have a toe curling orgasm. You can probably start with the basic methods of female masturbation. Using your finger or a vibrator, stroke yourself gently and discover which particular spots feel good when stimulated.

Use circular motions wit your index or middle finger, then touch the area which is slightly above or below the clitoris. Unless you are fully aroused, it is not recommended that you directly stroke the clitoris because it is quite sensitive.

  3. Step 3

Finish Things Off With A Bang

Continue with the stroking, gradually moving towards the vaginal wall until you experience that spine-tingling sensation which indicates that you are close to having an orgasm.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some women like to lie on their back, keep their legs pressed tightly together or have their legs spread widely apart during masturbation. Try out these different positions so that you will know which one makes you feel good.
  • Masturbating is also a good time to familiarize yourself with what your body does just before achieving an orgasm. When you tangle the sheets with your significant other, you can imitate the way that your body acts just before orgasm – and you just might experience reaching the big 'O' during penetration.
  • This is just a general guide of the basic steps that women follow in order to orgasm from masturbation. Remember that each woman is unique when it comes to the strokes that she likes – so be experimental enough to discover what works for you.
  • If you are using a sex toy to masturbate, make sure that you have ample lubrication and that the toys that you are using are sanitized.

on 12/4/2009 After trying occasionaly to masturbate my wife, I succeeded today for the first time in 10 years of marriage. The secret for us is to let her get a little "wet" first and then take a bit of her own lubrication on my fingers to rub VERY delicately in a circular motion around her clitoris. It was one of her best orgasms ever! This is a skill worth learning, guys.

on 10/30/2009 Great article. No man has ever made me have an orgasm. I have only had an orgasm through masturbation. Sex with men is fun though.
