Things You'll Need
- 2 cups shelled, unsalted peanuts
- Baking sheet
- Food processor
- 2 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- Spatula
- Airtight container

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the peanuts on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast two cups of peanuts in the oven for 25 minutes, until the peanuts start to turn golden brown and emit a rich peanuty aroma. Remove the tray from the oven and let them cool slightly.

Put the roasted peanuts into the food processor. Chop them for one minute, then add two tablespoons of peanut oil and one teaspoon of kosher salt. Process the mixture until smooth.
