Things You'll Need:
- An electric hair buzzer
- A razor, 3 blades or more
- A thick lathering shaving cream
- A bathroom
-
Step 1
Undress and get into shower, electric buzzer in hand. It is very important that the shower not yet be running. Use electric buzzer to trim beard in shower. Make sure that you do not trim too close, as this will prevent the hand razor from being effective further on.
-
Step 2
Place electric buzzer aside, out of shower. Turn on the shower to the hottest temperature bearable, making sure to rinse whole body to clean off fallen facial hairs. It is especially important that the face is exposed to the hot water, opening facial pores and easing following steps.
-
Step 3
Turn off shower and tower dry the body, being light but thorough at the beard. Skin should be warm still from exposure to warm water, and pores should appear slightly larger than normal. Beard and the skin under it must be dry while still having these characteristics.
-
Step 4
Lather facial hair with shaving cream. Do not use any water on the beard. Lather must be thick enough that beard is completely hidden underneath.
-
Step 5
Turn sink on to hottest possible. Using hand razor, shave face with strong, firm strokes, making sure to press against the skin and drag down along the skin. Rinse razor of excess hair throughly after each stroke, using the thumb dragged along the razor to free any trapped hair.
-
Step 6
After all hair has been shaved clean, rinse face with warm water to cleanse off any remaining hairs and to minimize the immediate appearance of stubble. Clean hair out from shower and sink hair traps, put away all shaving equipment, and move on.
