Things You'll Need:
- Toys of different colors
- Papers of different colors
-
Step 1
The first thing you will need to do is believe in yourself. You should be confident that you have what it takes to help your child learn.
Remember you are your first child teacher. Try to set a good example by making him/her enjoy learning -
Step 2
Find a red or blue toy, and start playing with it. After your child get used to the first color, take another toy of another color and start playing with it.
-
Step 3
Take two sheets of paper the same color as the two toys. Put each paper on the floor and put the matching toy on top of each paper.
-
Step 4
Take the toy off and ask your child to put it on the matching color.
When playing the game repeat as much as possible the color to help your child remember it easier. -
Step 5
You will be amazed how much this game will help your child learn his colors. Try to play it on a regular basis adding a new color each time.
Good Luck
