Things You'll Need:
- matzah
- shredded cheese
- tomato sauce
- chopped onions
- canned mushrooms
- chopped green peppers
-
Step 1
Preheat oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees. If you're making a personal Kosher for Passover matzah pizza, you can use the toaster.
-
Step 2
Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange matzah on baking sheet.
-
Step 3
Cover each matzah with tomato sauce or pizza sauce. Don't use too much or your matzah pizza will end up soggy.
-
Step 4
Sprinkle matzah generously with shredded pizza cheese. You can use any type of cheese you like. I prefer spicy Mexican taco cheese (of the nice Jewish variety), but that's just me.
-
Step 5
Add your favorite vegetable toppings. I like onions, mushrooms, and green peppers, but you can add sun-dried tomatoes, spinach, corn, you name it. Just lay off the meat, or it won't be kosher for Passover anymore. Milk and meat just don't mix.
-
Step 6
Bake matzah pizzas for 10 minutes or until pizza cheese is bubbly and melted. Be sure to break into pieces before eating, or it will get crumbs all over the place. L'chaim!
