How to MAKE MONEY by COLLECTING CANS
If you live in an area where they charge a deposit on cans, you can MAKE MONEY by collecting cans and returning them for the deposit! You can also get money for the weight of the metal in some locations, but I don't know anything about that so I won't cover that aspect here. I do, however, know about deposits on cans because we have a 5 cent deposit here in Maine.

Make up some flyers or business cards and get the word out that you are willing to pick up cans from anyone who hates to return cans. You would be surprised at how many people throw away cans just because it's a hassle to return them.

Instruct your customers to bag their cans and leave them outside for you to pick up. Then bring them to your local redemption center and return them for quick cash!

You may want to do something nice for your customers to encourage them to give you their cans. You could leave them a couple new trash bags each time you pick up cans so they have bags for their next batch. Or you could give them a $5 gift card once a month or whatever depending on how many cans they give you. Just do something nice and soon you'll have cans flying your way!
