Things You'll Need:
- A computer with internet access.
-
Step 1
Write effectively for eHow.com. This one may seem obvious, but take a closer look at the previous sentence - there's an emphasis on 'effectively.' If you make the effort to learn from the eHow experiences of experts you'll save yourself a tremendous amount of time and dramatically increase your earnings.
-
Step 2
Design t-shirts. CafePress is a company that will allow you to submit t-shirt designs (funny phrases, pictures, etc.) at no cost to you and if a t-shirt design of yours sells you'll receive a portion of that sale. A perfect no overhead business for creative people. (A link to this website is provided in the Resources Section.)
-
Step 3
Blog about something that interests you. This is completely free and can be both a work at home revenue stream and a fun creative outlet or way to keep in touch with friends.
Setting up a blog is extremely easy today. If you can manage an email account (or an eHow.com account) then you can manage a Blogger (Google's blog service) account. Once your blog is up and running apply for Google AdSense to monetize your blog without having to sell a product. -
Step 4
Sell tickets. Reselling tickets for sporting events and concerts can be a fun and profitable business that you can run out of your house.
Thanks to websites like Stubhub.com and eBay you can now sell tickets for events all over the country. Visit PresaleToday.com to find out in advance when popular events are taking place and also find valuable presale passwords for free. -
Step 5
Sell books. Amazon.com is a great place to sell used books that you already have at your house, find at a yard sale, or find any number of other ways.
When I was a college student I found that professors had tremendous amounts of unused textbooks that were free for the taking. Redistributing books online is a great way to share knowledge in a way that's most affordable for the purchaser and profitable for the seller. -
Step 6
Sell your photos. Visit Big Stock Photo where you submit photos (or artwork) for other people to buy/download.
When your pictures are purchased you split a portion of the sale with Big Stock Photo. You can make between 50 cents and $3.00 per download.
