Things You'll Need:
- Construction Paper
- Hole Punch
- Brad
- Glue Stick
-
Step 1
Begin by gathering all the supplies you will need for this craft. Cut out a ladybug shape on black paper, use the snowman method (one circle for the head, one larger circle for the body, except cut out two antennas on the top of the head as well).
-
Step 2
Use a large cup and trace the rim for a perfect circle on red paper. Fold the circle in half and crease the paper. Cut the paper out along the crease.
-
Step 3
Use a hole puncher and punch out black circles to be glued onto the red ladybug wings. Hole punch the wings at the top and in the center of the ladybug. Attach the wings to the ladybug with a brad.
-
Step 4
Fly your ladybug around. The movable wings allow for even better imagination play. This craft is also a wonderful addition for children learning about ladybugs and their habitat, foods they eat, and lifespan.
