Things You'll Need:
- USPS Tracking Number
-
Step 1
Locate your USPS tracking number. If you are the recipient of the mailed item you will need to ask for that information via the sender. USPS package tracking is not for regular mail like first class. So ask the mailer before hand if they will be able to give you a USPS tracking number. Senders can acquire the track USPS during printing postage online or by asking the front desk at the post office.
-
Step 2
Go to the United States Postal Service web site. I have included a link the resources section for your convenience. Here you can also find great deals on shipping items and helpful information on properly packaging your item to prevent damage or loss.
-
Step 3
Look in the upper right hand corner. You will see the words “Track & Confirm”, and a space to enter your track USPS numbers below it. Make sure to place the entire number in the provided area. You will also need to check and make sure the entry is 100 percent correct. If what you entered isn’t correct you will end up without any results or quite possibly the wrong results.
-
Step 4
Enter your USPS tracking number in the space provided then click on ‘go’.
-
Step 5
Wait for your USPS tracking information to appear and there you go. Start to finish it is a pretty easy process if you have the “know how” to complete it accurately.
