How to deal with a crying child while out and about.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Snacks
  • Toys
  • Anything else you take with you while your running errends.
  1. Step 1

    Before you leave, make sure your child(ren) take a nap. Make sure it is a well taken nap. A good Hour And A Half. Feed the child(ren). Beofre leaving tell the child(ren) where you will be going, and how you would like them to act.

  2. Step 2

    If they still act up, Stop what you are doing. Talk to them in a calm voice. Yelling back will just cause more of a scene.

  3. Step 3

    Let the child(ren) know that you dont like the way they are acting right now. If you need to leave what you are doing and take them to the car. And talk to them there. Children feed off of energy, and attention. So if they see other people staring they are going to keep going on.

  4. Step 4

    After your child(ren) are calm enough to take them back to where you left off, countinue on with your day!

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid screaming back.
  • DO NOT give in.
  • DO NOT hit the child(ren), it will make them cry more.
