Make My Cajun BBQ Rub

My Very Own Cajun BBQ Rub

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bowl
  1. Step 1

First off I buy most all my herbs & spices at Sam's Club. It is much more affordable than small containers at the grocery stores. We use a lot of Rubs around my house in the summer so the small containers get used to quickly.

  2. Step 2

In a bowl we will start with 1 Cup Paprika add 1/4 Cup Granulated Garlic, 1/4 Cup Onion Powder, 2 Tbls. Thyme, 1 Tbls. Oregano, 1 Tbls. Lemon Pepper, 1 Tbls Black Pepper, 1 Tbls. Cayenne Pepper, 1 Tbls. Cumin and 2 Tbls Sea Salt. You can also use regular salt but Sea Salt is so much better.

  3. Step 3

Toss together and rub generous amounts on any meat you want to BBQ or Grill. It is also a great Blackened Seasoning. Store remaining in an air tight container for later.

I sometimes like to add 2 Tbls Sugar for a little sweet...depends on my mood.
