Things You'll Need:
- Tight pair of surgical gloves
- Self tan remover
-
Step 1
Gloves are your best friends!
Successful tanning 101 – USE GLOVES to apply your self tanner! Self tanners do not have the ability to not tan your palms when you apply with your bare hands! (Scientists are working on a self tanner with a brain but until then USE GLOVES!) The tighter the gloves the better as lose gloves can cause creasing and streaking on the body. They should be like second skin! -
Step 2
St. Tropez Self Tan RemoverThe other option would be to buy an actual self tan remover product such as St. Tropez self tan remover.
-
Step 3
Another great way to avoid tanning the palms of your hands is to put a bit of moisturizer on your hands and then apply the self tanner. Washing your hands after each section of self tanner is applied is important so you don't leave the self tanner on long enough to start processing. This is the most time consuming choice but it does help!
