How to Stop Foot Odor
Do you fear removing your shoes because the odor may make people run screaming from the room? Foot odor or bromhidrosis, as the medical community defines it, comes from bacteria that multiply on moist, warm feet. There are a lot of sweat glands on feet, which produce perspiration. Perspiration contains many chemicals that smell. These bacteria thrive in warm, dark, damp shoes. There are a few easy ways to keep the bacteria on your feet from multiplying and scaring everyone from the house. To stop foot odor, follow the steps below.

If the smell of vinegar is too much, stop foot odor by soaking feet in strong black tea. Black tea's tannins kill bacteria and help close pores in feet. Bring a pan of water to a boil and let black tea bags seep for at least ten minutes. Pour tea into a bucket big enough for your feet. After the tea has cooled, soak feet for ten minutes.
