Facebook started out awesome....then got a little ridiculous. This article will help you navigate the ridiculousness.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Facebook started out as a way to keep in touch with friends. You could post funny pics of yourself, nights out, vacations, kids, pets, family ... you could post on people's walls and everything was fine because your friends were people you wouldn't mind showing these pictures and comments to. Then people decided that they would friend every single person they've ever met or almost met .... people who they don't even know .... and just got friend crazy. So now you're hesitant to post pics or comments because you don't know WHO is seeing it. So what do you do when someone sends you a friend request and you don't really want to friend them?

  2. Step 2

Friend them anyway. Just say "confirm." Accept their ridiculous request all the time knowing they're out of control and annoying. Deal with the unavoidable "hey haven't seen you in 18 years..whats new?" message and then about two weeks later unfriend them. They won't be notified .... they will stop receiving your updates and you will stop receiving their annoying "super pokes, videos, surveys, ..." If they ask you what happened just act like facebook screwed up and refriend them. Then you are stuck with them.

  3. Step 3

It is super intrusive and some people are facebook crazy so you can't help but just have them as your friends ... but usually you can just delete them and they won't even notice! Happy facebooking!
