Things You'll Need:
- Paper
- computer or colored markers
- photos
-
Step 1
Things that are home made mean more. It is giving a part of yourself to someone. It lets them know that you truly took the time out of your busy schedule to put the thought and effort into making them a card.
-
Step 2
Make a one of a kind individualized birthday card by collecting old photos or clipping things from a magazine that remind you of the person who is celebrating their birthday.
-
Step 3
Go on line or research through books for famous quotable quotes that remind you of the person. If they are funny, maybe use a line from Bob Hope or Don Rickles. Maybe they are turning 50 and as Rodney Dangerfield would have said, they get "no respect."
-
Step 4
If you can combine all of these ideas on a computer and work with photoshop - great, If not, cut and color, paste the photos and write the quotes or the special message you have for the birthday boy or girl.
