You should always clean your filter when cleaning the entire jacuzzi tub. You can also find an instant spa filter cleaner at your local spa/pool supply store, this is perfect for use between regular cleanings.
-
Step 2
Remove your jacuzzi filter and rinse off any debris with your garden hose.
-
Step 3
Next, fill your bucket with water and completely submerge the spa filter in the bucket.
-
Step 4
Add your filter cleaner to the bucket of water, following the manufacturer's directions.
Allow the filter to soak for at least 24 hours.
*You can always keep a replacement filter on hand in case you want to use the pool before the soaking time has elapsed. -
Step 5
After the soaking rocess is over, rinse thoroughly and replace it in the pool.
-
Step 6
If you want, you can add a pre-filter to the pool when refilling. It easily attaches to the end of your garden hose, and filters out impurities.
