Eat healthy.

If you are suffering from mild depression, there are many things that you can do to make yourself feel better and essentially cure your depression. If your depression is more severe, you should see a doctor. Each of these things do not work individually but are meant to work in combination with the other ideas. Try several of these tips on the same day to see results.

Instructions

    • 1

EAT HEALTHY - Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables and whole grains will give your body what it needs to fight depression. Also make sure that you are drinking enough water. Avoid junk food and sodas, they are bad for your body and mind.

    • 2

AVOID DRUGS AND ALCOHOL - Drugs and alcohol are depressants. They will not help you one bit. Even if you think that they make you feel good, it is just an illusion. The seven minutes of happiness that drugs and alcohol bring you are not worth the lifetime of low self esteem and depression they bring, among other things.

    • 3

KEEP UP WITH YOUR SOCIAL GROUP and FAMILY - Even if they are annoying, they are yours. Having social relationships is very important to our physical and mental well being. Be tolerant and enjoy them while you have them.

    • 4

EXERCISE - Regular exercise is very important for people with depression. Exercise at minimum 3 days a week, but try for 5 days a week. You will notice how much better you feel after exercising.

    • 5

TAKE B12 - Take a melt in your mouth (subliminal) every day. It will give you a little extra energy. If you take it every day you will really notice the results. Consult a doctor to find out what amount is best for you.

    • 6

LAUGH - Even if you do not mean it, laughter is the best medicine. It is said that even if you laugh at nothing and do not feel like it is funny, it still brings many health benefits. Try renting a comedy tonight.

    • 7

HAVE SEX - Sex will really get your blood pumping and make you feel good. This is an excellent way to get over depression.

    • 8

GET PLENTY OF REST - But not too much. Get out of bed when the sun comes up and enjoy the day.

    • 9

GET SOME SUN - Sunlight is very healthy for our bodies. It brings out the Vitamin D in our skin. Get a little sun every day to help fight your mild depression.
