How to make a delicious cheesecake, with 5 basic ingredients.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 16 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 9 inch Graham Cracker crust, store bought.
  1. Step 1

    Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Step 2

In a mixing bowl, soften the cream cheese, until smooth and creamy on Medium Speed!

  3. Step 3

Add granulated sugar to cream cheese, mix thoroughly on medium speed. Mix until smooth and creamy, again.

  4. Step 4

    Add Vanilla extract, mix thoroughly.

  5. Step 5

Add eggs and mix thoroughly, on medium speed. Mixture will be creamy, but not as thick, more like a thick liquid.

  6. Step 6

Pour entire mixture into the 9 inch graham cracker crust.

  7. Step 7

Bake for approximately 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Center of cheesecake should have a half dollar size circle that looks like it isn't cooked. Turn off the oven and allow to sit for additional 15 minutes.

  8. Step 8

Remove cheesecake from oven and allow it to cool completely. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving.

  9. Step 9

Cut and serve with your favorite topping. Caramel, cherries, chocolate, strawberries, what ever suits your taste buds.

Tips & Warnings
  • Center of Cheesecake will look a little uncooked, after the 45 minute cook time, that's fine, it will finish cooking from it's own heat. Just shut the oven off and leave it for another 15 minutes.
  • Allow Cheesecake to cool completely before refrigerating.
  • Personally I use fresh sliced strawberries with a little sugar added to them for a topping, but you may use any topping you like.
  • Scrape off the mixers, in-between each step.
  • Cook times and temperature, will vary from oven to oven, some ovens are hotter than others. If needed, drop the oven to 325 degrees, but still bake for 45 minutes.
  • Cracking may happen with the cheesecake, if over cooked, just place it on top of your stove and allow to settle and cool.
