Things You'll Need:
- toothpaste
- rubbing alcohol
- Visine
- tea tree oil

Step 1
One method for getting rid of acne quickly is to take a small dab of white toothpaste and dab it on the acne. Cover the pimple completely with the toothpaste, such as Crest, Colgate, Pepsodent or any other brand of toothpaste that does not have mint ingredients added. Use plain toothpaste for the best results of clearing the pimple quickly.

Step 2
Another method used to treat acne is to dab rubbing alcohol on the pimple with a cotton swab. I have noticed that if you use the rubbing alcohol on the pimple and then moisturize your face as you normally would, it clears up within a day or two.

Step 3
One of the best treatments for acne flare-ups is tea-tree oil. There are many products available containing tea-tree oil. The Body Shop has a product that is similar to a mascara bottle with a small wand that is used to dab the tea-tree oil mixture on the pimple. Tea-tree oil is available in drug stores in full strength, but do not use full strength tat-tree oil on the face. For severe flare-ups of acne, I have diluted tea-tree oil with water and dabbed a small amount on the acne.
