Things You'll Need:
- Small jar of real mayonnaise. I just got one of the small jars of Kraft Real Mayo. It's ingredients are all natural.
- 1 avacodo.
- produce knife.
- Medium to large mixing bowl.
- A plastic shopping bag or suran wrap.
- Shampoo.
-
Step 1
Cut the avacado in half. You'll hit the pit in the middle, but just cut around it. Put the half you aren't using in a storage container in the fridge for later use.
Peal the skin off the part of the avacodo you are using. You can just peal some slices off with a potato pealer and then the rest of the skin can just be pulled off. -
Step 2
Combine the whole jar of real mayonnaise and the pealed half avacodo in a medium to large mixing bowl and start squishing them together with your hands or a masher until the mixture is a mint green color and the avacodo is mixed in well.
-
Step 3
Now that your mayo/avacodo conditioner is done, wet your hair so that it's good and damp.
-
Step 4
Using your hands, apply the mixture completely throughout your hair, making sure to get down to the roots and the ends, as you would regular conditioner. If there are small chunks of avacodo left, just smash them as you comb the conditioner through your hair.
This takes about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how long, and thick your hair is. -
Step 5
Once you are done applying your mixture to your hair, take your plastic shopping bag and put it on your head like a showercap. Make sure to tie the handles on your forehead so that it won't fall off.
If using suran wrap, just twist your hair up behind your head and wrap the suran wrap aound. -
Step 6
Leave your mayo/avacodo conditioner on for 20 minutes.
-
Step 7
Rinse and then shampoo your hair. Allow your hair to air dry.
