Change the Air Purifier Filter

Keeping the air in your home free from airborne particles proper installation and timely replacement of the HEPA Filter. Tobacco smoke, cat dander and mold spores will be purified from the air you breath at 99% efficiency with this non washable filter.
If the Platinum Air air purifier starts making a noise, is outputting less air, or the electric filter light remains on, it is time to check the filter to see if it is clogged and needs to be replaced.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Platinum Air air purifier
HEPA Filter
Pen or paperclip

Step 1

Turn the air purifier off.
Step 2

Unplug the air purifier.
Step 3

Locate the 2 notches at the front of the grille.
Step 4

Pull the grille forward while pressing the 2 notches until you can remove it.
Step 5

Pull the filter frame forward while pressing down gently.
Step 6

Unwrap the new filter.
Step 7

Position the filter with the arrows located at the side of the filter facing inward.
Step 8

Snap filter into place.
Step 9

Replace the grille, bottom first, clicking it into place.
Step 10

Plug the air purifier in.
Step 11

Turn the air purifier on.
Step 12

Reset the electronic filter check by inserting the tip of a pen or paperclip into the slot next to the check light for 5 seconds.
