Your baby's diaper bag will quickly become your most important accessory. It is important that you know how to pack your baby's diaper bag so that you won't get to where you're going and realize that you've left something very important behind. Here are some steps you can take to ensure that your baby's diaper bag is packed perfectly.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Make a list of all the things you will need to pack a baby's diaper bag. You will need several diapers, wipes, a changing pad, a burp cloth, bibs, a change of clothes for baby, bottles if you are bottle feeding, baby food and a spoon if your baby is ready for solids, a wash cloth, a toy your baby loves, a book your baby loves, a gallon sized plastic bag (this is great for dirty clothes), a blanket, and some hand sanitizer. Those are just some of the basic things that you will need. You can add anything else that you feel is necessary.

  2. Step 2

Gather all of the supplies that you will need to pack your baby's diaper bag and the diaper bag. Pack all of the supplies neatly. If they are just thrown in the diaper bag, they may be difficult to find later on.

  3. Step 3

Take a smaller bag and pack some of the things that you will need such as your wallet, tissues, cell phone, hair brush, and make up. Place the small bag in your baby's diaper bag. Separating your things from your baby's will keep them from getting mixed up and lost.

  4. Step 4

Place your baby's packed diaper bag in a location that will be easy to find. You would be surprised how easy it can be to misplace your baby's diaper bag.

Tips & Warnings
  • Some people like to pack two diaper bags and keep one in the car just in case.
  • Clean out your diaper bag often. It is not fun to find half eaten jars of baby food and week-old dirty clothes.
  • There are so many cute diaper bags these days. Pick out a few that match your personality, but be sure that they are easy to wash.
