have an Easter marshmallow peeps contest

Everyone has eaten Marshmallow Peeps. They are the best Easter candy around. We will give you the basics of having your own Marshmallow Peeps decorating contest. It is so much fun for adults or children. It is an awesome Easter Idea!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • marshmallow peeps
  • props
  • creativity
  • fun
  1. Step 1

This contest is so popular they actually have one featured in the Washington post every year and it's huge! You can google it and see exactly what we are talking about.

First you must decide the colors of peeps you plan to use. Nowaday peeps come in different colors and sizes. You can also choose to use the Bunny peeps or just born peeps or both, depending on your creation.

  2. Step 2

Next think of the theme you want to create. There are so many cool peep ideas! I have seen American Idol Peeps, Wizard of Oz Peeps, Peeps at a drive-in movie, the running of the peeps, Peepbusters, Sesame Peep, Peep on a cross and so much more. If you think I'm joking just research the net you will find tons of ideas.

  3. Step 3

This is an awesome idea for your family Easter picnic or classroom. We have had an Easter Peep contest every year and the adults and children just love it. Next, have your guests bring in their creation and you can have them display all together on a table.

  4. Step 4

Last make a number for each of the creations and have each guest vote. You may want to make a little box so that each person can put their vote without anyone knowing. At the end you count the votes and see who won the contest. This can be so much fun it may end up as a tradition every Easter.

Tips & Warnings
  • To make your peep stand up, cut off a small piece of the bottom and the marshmallow will naturally stick.
  • You may not want to eat these peeps that you use for the contest because some people may use glue or other substance to decorate.
