Chicken noodle soup is the most beloved meal for the sick season and cold days. It is easy to make and can be stored for quick meals later.

This recipe can be made with any chicken and vegetables that happen to be laying around in the fridge.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Chicken
  • vegetables
  • pasta
  • chicken stock
  1. Step 1

In a large pot prep chicken stock. I use chicken and herb bouillon cubes. Add pasta noodles and vegetables to chicken stock, bring to a boil.

  2. Step 2

Cut uncooked chicken in small pieces. Make sure to remove any bones, fatty and connective tissues.

In a separate pan sauté chicken in one tsp of oil until cooked thoroughly.

  3. Step 3

Add chicken to stock. Continue boiling until pasta noodles are tender. Lower heat, cover and simmer for thirty minutes.

Remove from heat, uncover and let the soup sit another fifteen minutes. The noodles will continue to absorb the broth both in the pot and as leftovers in the fridge.
