Everyone craves the latest fashion but with the economy and layoffs who can afford the high dollar prices associated with these clothing. This article will provide you with tips on how and where to buy these items at a fraction of the cost you would pay at regular price.

   Shop at outlets. Some of my favorite are Ann Taylor Factory, Banana Republic Outlet, Gap Outlet, just to name a few. You should always buy classic wear. Even though these stores carry last year items you are buying classic wear so it does not matter. Remember classics never go out of style. If you are not familiar with classics these are items like that cute black suit or trench coat you had your eye on.

2. Shop in other discount stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx or Ross. These stores always carry name brand items like ED Hardy, Will Smith, Borns, BCBG, etc.

3. Go shopping during the off seasons when items are slashed to 50% plus an additional 40%. You can buy winter items during the spring months at the sale price and summer items during the fall and winter months. If you are lucky enough to get to these sales early you may find your size.

4. You can have sales associates give you a call when items go on sale or when the store is having a sale. If the associate works on commission you can guarantee you will be receiving a phone call.
