Learning how to cope with a unplanned pregnancy isn't always easy. For many women their scared and confused and their not sure what to do. There is support out there and resources for you.

  1. Step 1

    The first thing you should do is find support. There are many ways to do this. You can tell a close friend, counselor at church, parent. You need someone to talk to, someone who will listen and understand what you are going through.

  2. Step 2

    The next step is to decide what your options are. This should be a long decision making process. You should find out your options and see what each options consists of. You need to ask yourself questions like, "Can I live with this decision?", "Will this decision effect me emotionally, psychologically, or even physically?" For many women they find it helpful to find Crisis pregnancy centers where they offer free counseling, pregnancy tests, ultrasound and resources. This is a life changing decision no matter what you decide you should not have to do it alone.

  3. Step 3

    If you need immediate help you can also call a Crisis Pregnancy Support Hot line. The resource website below will give you the information you need to find support during pregnancy.
