Step 1
Get some chalk and get creative. Create a hopscotch board, trace each other, or just have fun drawing and coloring.
-
Step 2
Make an obstacle course. Pull things out of the garage (bikes, balls, hula hoops, baseball bats, etc) and make an obstacle course in the front yard.
-
Step 3
Play ball. Put together a good old-fashioned kick ball or baseball game with the whole family.
-
Step 4
Plant flowers. There's nothing greater than seeing a child plant seeds and watch them grow into flowers. Kids love to help out and planting flowers is a great way for them to do so.
-
Step 5
Take a walk. Whether you hit the streets or hiking trails, walking is great for exercise as well as family bonding, especially when you are exploring the nature around you.
-
Step 6
Go to the park. Kids love to swing and climb and there's no better place to do it than at the park.
-
Step 7
Have a picnic. You don't have to go far (even your own backyard is fun) to enjoy a family picnic. Pack up lunch and take it outside on a blanket!
