Creating Home Brewed beers in your home is a easy and fun way to try out some different beer styles from around the world. This ehow will teach your the basic beginners steps to create some wonderful beer right in your kitchen.

    Step one to make home brew beer is to Clean everything. This includes the brewing vessel, spoons , funnel , and brewing pot. Clean everything with dish soap in a sink before sanitizing .

    Step two to make home brew beer is to sanitize everything that will touch the unboiled wart. This would be the brewing vessel spoon and funnel if you choose to use one . Fill the brewing vessel that came with your mr.beer home brew kit with half a pouch of the included one step sanitizer. Then fill it up with water and let it sit for 5 min. place the spoon into the brewing vessel while it is sanitizing .Pour out the mixed sanitizer with the spout to make sure that it also gets sanitized.

    Step three is to pour 4 cups of cold water into your brewing pot. Then you need to SLOWLY sprinkle the included BOOSTER packet into the water wile mixing. If you don’t do it slowly it will clump and take 45 min to dissolve into the water. Once the booster is mixed in with the water all the way turn on the burner and wait for the water to begin boiling. Keep stirring and watch out for any missed booster clumps left in. They will stick to the bottom and burn creating a nasty flavor in your finished beer.

    Step four to home brewing beer is to take the boiling water off the burner and add the can of included beer mix along with any fermentables like sugar, honey, fruit in syrup or molasses. Adding more fermentables to the home brew will increase the abv % of your finished beer.

    Step five to creating delicious home brew beer is to fill the brewing vessel up to 4 quarts with cold water. Then you add the wart from the brewing pot and top off with water up to the full line located on the back of the brewing vessel. Then add the yeast packet located on the top of your can of beer mix wait 5 min and stir it all together . Place the lid on top and set aside in a warm place for 2 weeks.

    Step six you will now need to fill the sink with warm water and ad the second half of the sanitizer packet to the warm water. Place all your bottles into the mixture and let them soak in the sanitizer for 5 min. Now you should read the recommended amount of sugar to place in the bottles for carbonating. Place correct amount of sugar into the bottles you will be filling and fill and cap the bottles. Store these bottles in room temperature for a week or 2 until they fully carbonate. Check one after a week and if its not fizzy then wait another week . Place bottles in fridge to chill for 2 days. Pour and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • Drink your beer in a glass, Slowly pour it out of the bottle to avoid disturbing the yeast at the bottom of the bottles.
  • Must be of drinking age to drink home brew beer
  • Follow the same rules of drinking as with any other beer
