Things You'll Need:
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 pound pork, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 large carrots, julienne
- 1 red bell pepper, julienne
- Fish sauce, optional
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Soy sauce to taste
- 3 cups chicken broth or water
- 2 cups cabbage leaves, cut into thin strips
- 1 pound rice stick noodles
- Wedges of lemon or lime (calamansi), for garnish

Step 1
Rinse the rice noodles with cold water. Drain then set aside.
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over high heat. Add pork slices and stir-fry until dark in color. Add onion and garlic. Saute for 4-5 minutes. Turn heat down to medium.
Season with fish sauce (optional), soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste. -
Step 2
Add red bell peppers and julienne carrots. Stir-fry for a 2-4 minutes. Add chicken stock or water. Heat until boiling and put in the drained rice stick noodles.

Let the ingredients simmer for a few minutes, stirring frequently to loosen the rice noodles. Add more water or broth if the rice noodles is drying up and sticking to the pan. You may also add soy sauce if you want a more intense flavor.

Step 4
Add cabbage leaves and turn off the heat. Toss well the contents. Serve hot with lemon wedges or lime. For 4 persons.
