Have you wondered if there was a way to download your favorite YouTube video? There are many occasion where we would like to be able to watch YouTube videos without having internet or a high speed connection. Learn how to download a YouTube video to your computer so you do not have to worry about being connected again!

Things You'll Need:

  • Real Player or other software for capturing video
  1. Step 1

    The first and easiest way to download a YouTube video is to use RealPlayer as your video watching program. In RealPlayer, if you mouse over the screen while the video is playing an option to download the video. Click on download the video, save it with a name you will remember, and you have downloaded your YouTube video.

  2. Step 2

    If you do not have RealPlayer, you still have some other options to download a YouTube video. One option is using a website that helps you do to this. One great one for downloading YouTube clips is KeepVid.com. Once you download the site's software, you will just need to copy and paste the Youtube URL and then click download and you have your YouTube video on your computer.

  3. Step 3

    One other website you can use to help you download a YouTube video onto your hard drive is SaveVid.com. It works similarly to KeepVid. You will download their software and then the software will download YouTube videos for you.
