Another way to keep the throat hydrated is a method called steaming. Boil a pot of water. Set the pot aside and take a towel. Keeping a good distance from the rising steam, position yourself so the steam is hitting your face. Place the towel over your head and the pot, and slowly breathe in and out through the mouth. This process is very soothing but be careful not to burn yourself.

A good product to have to help soothe a sore throat is raw apple cider vinegar. Gargling or taking a shot of this potent liquid will start working instantly. The feeling is very intense, but the acidity in the vinegar helps clear out any gunk that may be in your throat along with killing some of the bacteria that may be there as well.

There are a few products that I consider the best out there for a sore throat. Honey is a wonderful natural remedy for a sore throat, and swallowing just a small amount can go a long way. If your looking for a cough drop, the best choice is Ricola. They work well, and they are all natural. Throat Coat is a tea that specializes in throat health, and the warm herbal sensation feels amazing.

Tips & Warnings
Gargle only a half shot of the raw apple cider vinegar.
Throat Coat can be found in the tea section, or the organic section at your Grocery store.
Be extremely careful while steaming. After taking the pot off of the hot stove top let it cool for a minute. You can breathe through the nose if you want, but be very careful, the membrane in the nose is much more sensitive than in the throat.
